 I have created a rough plan for 2 pages from my website. This will guide me and help me to create a good and satisfying website.

 I will use 4 main sets for my music video. 1. Dead-dogs hill: This is a hill on my campus. It is in a nice forest. I will film quite alot in the daylight here since it gives a nice and mysterious look to my video. 2. Mixedcom: A old room, looking like a lounge. It has a pool table and some couches. It will be an interesting set for some shots. 3. Black/darkroom: A dark room with bisexual lighting shining right at my artist. It gives a serious vibe to my music video 4. Main hall: A big hall with an indoor balcony. Used in at least two scenes. One of them being the choir scene which is a very important scene in the video.

General Plan: - (0.00 - 0.16) Introduction DEAD DOGS: Drone shots of Forrest. 2 Police officers walking into the forest filmed by drone and steady cam. Music Intensifies, as the policemen make their way further into the forest. - (0.16 - 0.32) Singing starts: We see a black man ( the main character dancing, DEJI) dancing to the slow music. In the background, we see another black man (JOSUE) sitting on a chair, blindfolded. To keep it interesting, we also have some drone angles and jump cuts back to the forest shots. - (0.32 - 0.48) Closing of introduction: The Policemen seem to walk past Deji and slowly make their way towards Josue.  I have this blog post, to store images for my website, that I take whilst making the movie I will add more and more photos throughout filming.

 To make my project a bit more personal and to achieve higher marks, I will now refer to childish Gambino as "Deji". I have chosen this name because the main actor of my actual music videos name is actually Deji. 

 I will now look into making a logo and some other branding for my company my company is called Phelans Films This my own Dynamic and Playful logo that I have created within adobe photoshop CC: My branding slogan will be: High-quality Music videos finished in no time. This slogan suggests, that my company can finish high-quality music videos in good time for the customers.

 This is my first mood board, featuring some key aspects of my music video.

  Draft Statement of Intent: How do you intend to use the four areas of the media theoretical framework to communicate meaning and meet the requirements of your chosen brief? (approx. 400 words) Music video: The basic concept for my video, which is about the song “This Is America” by Childish Gambino is to film and document The Racism, police brutality and violence, especially against Black people. I will try to spread a message with my video that shows how bad it can really get in America. This fits perfectly into the genre that the exam board has given us this year, which is “Protest songs.” A protest song is a song that is associated with a movement for social change and hence part of the broader category of topical songs. It may be folk, classical, or commercial in the genre. This is America fits in there perfectly since it is all about standing up against Americas Race and gun violence. The key elements that I need to include in my video for it to entertain my audience: to satisfy my audiences expectations, I will include the following elements: - Show clear messages of White supremacy in the USA - Show some "Cool" and rapid editing to keep the viewer entertained. - Give the actors the appropriate clothing - mise en scene has to be appropriate - I will have one black main character, and some white good and bad guys, I will try to bring as many different people of race, ethical beliefs and religions into my project. Some scenes might include: - Police brutality, dressing up a friend as a policeman, and him being brutal to another character. - BLM movement, filming bits of a black lives matter protest. - Rappers in cool outfits rapping in a cool location such a forest with interesting camera angles. - some dancing in some scenes when I need to fill in some space. - lip syncing needs to be perfect in every single scene to make it look professional.
