In this post, I will show my story plan, which consists of storyboards, shot lists and general notes and planning on where I will shoot what

ACTORS:

DEJI: Main character, and rapper 

JOSUE: First victim of gun violence

PIER & MINDA: White supremacists Policeman

FERGUS, FLYNN, CHARLES: Shady Backup dancers.

General Plan:

- (0.00 - 0.16) Introduction DEAD DOGS: Drone shots of Forrest. 2 Police officers walking into the forest filmed by drone and steady cam. Music Intensifies, as the policemen make their way further into the forest.

- (0.16 - 0.32) Singing starts: We see a black man ( the main character dancing, DEJI) dancing to the slow music. In the background, we see another black man (JOSUE) sitting on a chair, blindfolded. To keep it interesting, we also have some drone angles and jump cuts back to the forest shots.

- (0.32 - 0.48) Closing of introduction: The Policemen seem to walk past Deji and slowly make their way towards Josue. One of them (PIER) pulls out a handgun and slowly starts aiming at Josue's head. The scene closes with Pier shooting him straight in the head.

- (0.48 - 1.05) Start of main Song MIXEDCOM: Jumpcut to change of location to a big room, that reminds of a lounge. Deji starts ad lipping the song, and makes his way from a pool table towards the door at the other side of the room. On his way, he walks past the policemen, laughing and showing off their guns. To end the scene he walks out the door.

- (1.05 - 1.20) New scene. ART DEPT: a dark room with different lighting. Only dejis upper body is shown. He is singing and interacting with the camera. His dance moves are pretty smooth and there is clear changes in facial expression. 

- (1.20 - 1.36) CUMMING MAIN HALL, BALCONY: Deji is rapping, whilst walking on an indoor balcony. The scene is filmed from the other side of the railing. he walks past and the American flag, and some shady looking guys. One posh American and one shady looking guy. (RUFUS, FERGUS)

- (1.36 - 1.52) CHOIR SCENE, MAIN HALL CUMMING: Choir of 7 people from different races, Singing happily, then Policemen comes and shoots them...

- (1.52 - 2.08) DEAD DOGS 2: Deji just rapping with the same people in the background as before. Josue is dead on the floor tough

- (2.08 - 2.24) MIXEDCOM 2: Deji rapping with some backup dancers and still the American flag. The moves are smooth.

- (2.24 - 2.40) ART DEPT 2: Still rapping with jump cuts and some SFX to make it more interesting. It is the outro, the camera slowly zooms out in the end and Deji walks out the frame.
